Hi, I’m Liz and I’m a crazy maniac about financial education. I grew up in Midland, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders!) in 2001.
In 2010, in the midst of a hallucinogenic fever dream, I thought it was a great idea to go back to school, and thus I graduated again, this time with a Masters of Business Administration from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.
My path eventually led me to the corporate personal finance world, but the fit wasn’t right. I wanted to serve and educate with a focus on women - not be tied to account minimums and commission-based products. So I put on my big-girl britches and made a change. I now provide financial education through Pink Thread and financial planning through Core Planning. NO REGRETS!
These days I'm happily doing the work I love - helping women identify the emotions and values behind their money to create lives that make them feel secure and content.
When I’m not working, I’m hanging with my husband, Dan, and our two very bad cats, Sage and Cheddar. On the weekends, you can usually find me next to the campfire at our local campground or catching some live music at a local winery.
